Job Overview

This position involves addressing routine maintenance tasks such as repairing minor plumbing issues including clearing clogged drains, using plungers on toilets, and fixing leaking faucets and spigots. Additional responsibilities include handling small fixes like tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes. Regular upkeep of tools and equipment by cleaning and lubricating is also required.

Work Environment and Conduct

Adherence to all corporate safety and security policies is mandatory. You will be expected to report any maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries promptly and undergo relevant safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance is required, along with safeguarding proprietary information and company assets.

Engaging guests warmly and following company standards in guest service is essential. Anticipate and meet guests' service expectations and help individuals with disabilities as needed. Professional communication and fostering positive relationships among colleagues, while listening and responding effectively, are keys to success in this role.

Physical Requirements

The role requires physical activities such as reaching both overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visual inspections of tools and equipment, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds independently, and assisting with heavier items over 100 pounds (e.g., air conditioning units, televisions, dressers) are part of daily duties. Mobility includes moving up and down stairs, ramps, and ladders, along with manipulating objects of various sizes.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is preferred.
• No previous related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
• No licenses or certifications are necessary for this role.
