Handover Lead

We have a vast reach with over 1,000 employees and 9,000 contractors across 70+ countries. We are currently looking for a Handover Lead to join a leading Oil & Gas client in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Lead and oversee turnover and acceptance systems for large construction projects, including development and management of completions databases and systems.
• Develop check sheets, allocate tasks, and prepare commissioning documentation such as procedures and method statements related to pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Supervise teams and have oversight over service and vendor personnel, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Apply knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria pertinent to fabrication, transport, installation, and hook-up in Oil & Gas projects.
• Understand execution methods and mitigate risks related to sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Work collaboratively with large operational organizations across functions such as Operations, Projects, and Subsurface.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering discipline.
• At least eight years of professional experience in large-scale construction projects within the Oil & Gas sector, covering disciplines like construction, fabrication, installation, completion, and hook-up.
• A minimum of one year in a supervisory or oversight role, including managing vendor or service personnel.
• Advanced expertise with turnover and acceptance systems, as well as proficiency in completions software and databases.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service providers, or heavy construction entities.
• Knowledge of offshore and onshore facilities, yard operations, and related execution methods.
