Job Summary
This position focuses on managing the economic growth engine behind foodpanda's Quick Commerce (QC) segment across various markets. The goal is to enhance user engagement metrics such as Monthly Active Users (MAU) penetration and trial rates, while carefully managing cost-effectiveness to sustain unit economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overall QC growth performance in multiple regions by setting and executing market-responsive growth strategies, aligning cross-functional teams to new growth opportunities focused on increasing QC MAU percentages and trials.
- Analyze weekly financial and operational metrics to detect inefficiencies in cost or incentive structures.
- Design and implement scalable incentive programs ensuring sustainable growth of QC services.
- Collaborate closely with local growth and commercial teams to co-develop and manage incentive strategies.
- Define and uphold standard incentive principles (“golden rules”) in partnership with cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional projects emphasizing unit economics and cost control.
- Deliver executive-level performance reports and economic insights to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into significant fluctuations in growth or costs.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with excellent academic credentials.
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in areas such as strategy, consulting, finance, growth management, or technology-driven enterprises.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing profit and loss statements, calculating return on investment, and balancing economic trade-offs.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders across various functions through data-driven communication.
- Excellent prioritization and execution skills with a strong bias towards action and delivering ROI-focused results.
- Exceptional communication abilities, structuring complex information clearly and demonstrating sound business judgment.
- High ownership and comfort operating in uncertain and evolving business environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets; SQL skills considered advantageous.
