Role Overview
We are seeking a Group Product Manager to spearhead our AI product portfolio and define the strategic direction for AI-driven value creation for our clients. Reporting to the General Manager of Product, you will manage a diverse portfolio encompassing AI capabilities such as NLP, data enrichment, MCP layer, APIs, developer platforms, and partner ecosystems. This role requires both leadership of Product Managers and hands-on involvement to accelerate product evolution aligned with customer acquisition, activation, and monetization goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute product strategies emphasizing AI and ML capabilities including enrichment, NLP, agents, MCP integration, and APIs.
- Manage the API and developer platform to enhance developer experience, foster partner integration, and optimize commercial access.
- Develop clear roadmaps informed by market insights, customer feedback, and technology advancements.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers emphasizing customer focus, experimentation, and ownership in a psychologically safe environment.
- Own and advance Nuix’s AI models ensuring they meet standards of explainability, defensibility, and auditability vital for regulated environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data platform teams, and commercial functions to unify product and go-to-market strategies.
- Engage with customers, advisory boards, and strategic partners to foster understanding and support of the Nuix AI vision.
- Define and track portfolio metrics such as adoption, engagement, accuracy, and monetization to ensure business outcomes are met.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Proven leadership experience in product management at senior levels including strategy formulation and team development.
- Successful track record of delivering AI/ML-enabled products within complex enterprise or regulated settings, such as big data, analytics, legal tech, or cybersecurity.
- Expertise in API and platform product ownership including developer and partner engagement, and commercial ecosystem management.
- Strong familiarity with NLP and data enrichment approaches and evaluation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities with influence across technical and business leadership.
- Insight into AI-native development workflows and understanding of their impact on product lifecycle management.
- Commercial savvy in product packaging and monetization.
- Experience in regulated or high-scrutiny contexts where AI explainability and compliance are critical is highly desirable.
- Hands-on knowledge of MCP servers, agent frameworks, or LLM orchestration in production environments.
- Awareness of graph visualization techniques and evolving AI governance regulations such as the EU AI Act.
- Market trend awareness with strategic perspective on platform positioning.
Workplace and Location
This position is based at our Sydney office with a hybrid working model requiring at least three days onsite per week. Remaining days may be remote or in-office at candidate discretion.
