Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates for entry-level full-time groundsperson positions at RAAF Townsville. This career opportunity welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds including defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other fields. Key Duties
- Perform maintenance and upkeep of site grounds and gardens.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with grounds maintenance activities.
- Receive training to operate various grounds maintenance equipment such as ride-on mowers and whipper snippers.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a current open driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance; Australian citizenship is required.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
