Overview
Lidl Ireland is inviting graduates to join their comprehensive 18-month Graduate Management Development Programme designed to cultivate future leaders across their operations, headquartered in Dublin. This programme uniquely combines tailored, accredited training with practical experience in-store and at head office, focusing on enhancing customer journeys across their 230+ stores.
Programme Structure
Graduates will rotate through two core areas within the Sales Head Office Department: Store Layouts & Experience and Sales Systems & Solutions. Initial weeks include hands-on store-level training to understand operational aspects, followed by head office placements where innovative projects and technology solutions are implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize intuitive store layouts that maximize space and ease of product discovery for customers.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to introduce and promote new products on shelves.
- Lead projects that test and refine store layouts to continuously improve shopper experience.
- Develop and support technology-driven sales solutions including shelf checkouts, electronic shelf labels, and payment innovations enhancing customer transactions.
- Analyze customer interaction points to drive implementation of next-generation retail technologies.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Degree qualification: expected or achieved Level 8 honours with a minimum 2.1 classification.
- Possession of a full driving license.
- Innovative mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Motivation to learn and grow professionally.
- Availability to commute to the Dublin head office following initial store training.
