Job description
Role Overview
As part of Penspen's strategic plan to enhance the local talent pool within the UAE, we invite recent graduates specializing in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This Development Discipline Engineering position involves supporting the engineering department across various projects and business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical discipline from an accredited university is required.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
Experience and Skills
- Between 0 to 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry is essential.
- Experience gained within the region is beneficial.
- Prior involvement in Oil & Gas design projects is advantageous.
- Strong foundational university training in mechanical and piping engineering design.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Plant Design System (PDS) or equivalent software is a benefit.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering principles and processes.
- Awareness of international engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
- Capability to grasp basic design concepts and conduct technical analysis on engineering issues.
- Experience preparing non-critical engineering design documentation and deliverables adhering to company technical competence standards.
