Electrical Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer experienced in using Revit and capable of providing expert technical designs for electrical systems involved in engineering and construction projects. The role entails the development, review, and coordination of electrical design plans that meet project demands and adhere to the Saudi Building Code alongside internationally recognized standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical layouts, drawings, and technical documents to support project objectives.
• Design and coordinate comprehensive electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems in line with project needs.
• Develop and maintain updated electrical models and drawings utilizing Revit and comparable design software tools.
• Execute electrical engineering calculations such as load assessments and equipment dimensioning to ensure system efficiency.
• Liaise and synchronize electrical designs with architecture, structural, mechanical disciplines, and other project teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Assess design drawings to detect and resolve potential conflicts or coordination challenges.
• Ensure all electrical designs conform to the Saudi Building Code, project-specific guidelines, and applicable international standards.
• Participate in technical review meetings, addressing design-related feedback and queries promptly.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the design phases, ensuring alignment and quality deliverables.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficient in engineering design software with strong expertise in Revit.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Saudi Building Code and international electrical standards.
• Demonstrated ability in technical design, coordination with cross-disciplinary teams, and effective communication.
