Overview
Join Novo Nordisk as a vital link connecting innovative therapies to healthcare professionals who prescribe them. In this dynamic, field-based position throughout New Zealand, you will cultivate meaningful connections with Primary Healthcare Clinicians and hospital specialists to facilitate patient access to transformative treatments.
Based in Dunedin, your territory will also include travel to Queenstown-Lakes, Southland, and South Canterbury, requiring 8-9 days away from home monthly.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with General Practitioners, key opinion leaders like endocrinologists, and other healthcare providers within the designated territories.
- Craft and implement strategic territory business plans to meet sales goals and expand market share for Novo Nordisk's product portfolio.
- Deliver engaging, scientifically grounded presentations and clinical discussions tailored to the specific needs of healthcare professionals.
- Leverage account planning and customer insights to identify and pursue new opportunities within the territory.
- Collaborate closely with medical, marketing, and market access teams to provide comprehensive and integrated solutions for clients.
- Represent the company at medical conferences, educational forums, and regional healthcare events.
- Maintain precise records of customer engagement and territory activities utilizing CRM tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated success in sales, particularly with experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors focused on primary care and hospital environments.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed territory sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities aimed at influencing and building trust among healthcare professionals.
- Strong business insight with skills in data analysis, opportunity identification, and strategic planning.
- A relevant tertiary qualification such as in science, pharmacy, nursing, or business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid New Zealand driver's license and readiness for frequent travel within the territory.
- Experience in therapeutic areas like diabetes, endocrinology, or metabolic diseases is advantageous.
- Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
