Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend systems in Golang for the company's card payment and issuing platforms, covering functionalities such as card issuance, account management, authorization, clearing, settlement, transaction processing, billing, and rewards.
  • Engage in designing and developing the full card transaction lifecycle, demonstrating a deep understanding of transaction flows including Authorization, Reversal, Capture, Refund, and Reconciliation.
  • Contribute to system architecture design and improvements by analyzing legacy systems, migrating components, iterating continuously, and enhancing performance to ensure high availability, consistency, and stability in financial applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks to boost system throughput and reduce response times while safeguarding fund security and data accuracy in environments with high transaction concurrency.
  • Uphold high engineering standards by producing comprehensive technical documentation, enforcing coding quality practices, conducting code reviews, and developing unit and integration tests.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience programming in Golang and/or Java.
  • Practical experience in developing or working with card issuing/payment systems or transaction processing platforms is strongly favored.
  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency concepts and operation of crypto systems; experience in crypto-related trading or payment platforms is advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of Golang and/or Java, especially with concurrent programming concepts.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating environments and solid foundation in data structures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and understanding of computer networking technologies.
  • Expertise in MySQL including ability to optimize SQL queries for performance.
  • Knowledge of Redis and other caching systems including techniques to handle cache breakdown, penetration, and avalanches.
  • Familiar with Kafka or similar messaging queuing systems for decoupling and asynchronous processing.
  • Understanding of distributed systems including microservices architecture, and experience with gRPC and Protobuf serialization.
  • Insight into microservice governance aspects such as service registration/discovery, circuit breakers, rate limiting, and distributed tracing.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, along with continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Codex to enhance programming efficiency and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in risk control or fraud prevention related to Crypto Cards or payment product applications.
  • Experience working with licensed card issuers, acquiring banks, third-party payment processors, or card networks.
  • Knowledge of standard messaging protocols such as ISO 8583 or ISO 20022 and integrations with card networks and partners.
  • Familiarity with crypto deposit/withdrawal processes, Crypto Cards, or fiat currency on/off ramps.
  • Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and payment industry security standards.
  • Experience building payment platforms from inception or conducting core payment system migrations.
