About the Role
Join the Toowoomba Windows and Doors team of G.James Group, a reputable Australian family-owned company known for its aluminium window and door products serving residential and commercial projects. We seek an experienced Glass Cutter to contribute to precise and safe processing of glass within our factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cutting and processing float and laminated glass
- Operating glass-cutting equipment and handling associated tools
- Planning and prioritizing the daily glass cutting schedule
- Supporting factory operations by assisting with unloading trucks and managing incoming materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Candidate Profile
We value candidates who demonstrate reliability, safety awareness, and prior experience in glass cutting or related trade qualifications in glazing. Essential skills include:
- Proficiency in glass cutting and processing within a production setting
- Safe operation of hand tools, lifting gear, and machinery
- Strong focus on detail and maintaining quality standards
- Effective organizational skills to meet production schedules
