GIS/CAD Support Specialist

Job Overview

WSP is seeking a seasoned GIS and CAD support expert to join its team in Riyadh. This role is vital for providing specialized technical assistance concerning GIS and CAD software applications, particularly within the context of road and infrastructure development projects. Collaborating closely with supervision consultants, you will facilitate seamless data management and visualization processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage GIS and CAD datasets tailored for various road and infrastructure initiatives.
• Deliver technical expertise and support for GIS and CAD tools, including diagnosing and resolving software issues.
• Work in close coordination with supervision consultants to incorporate GIS and CAD information into project outputs.
• Produce intricate maps, engineering drawings, and visual representations conducive to project planning and execution phases.
• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS and CAD data across all platforms associated with projects.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation such as technical reports and project records related to GIS and CAD.
• Support and contribute to training efforts to enhance team capability in GIS and CAD software usage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or an allied technical discipline.
• At least 12 years of professional experience providing GIS and CAD support in road and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with supervision consultants and administer complex project datasets.
• Expert knowledge of GIS and CAD platforms, including but not limited to ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and proven capacity to work well within teams.
