Overview
This position is with a restaurant operated under an independent franchisee license of McDonald’s, distinct from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment-related responsibilities including hiring, supervision, and staffing. McDonald’s USA holds no authority or involvement in employment decisions or application processing.
Role Summary
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring adherence to McDonald’s stringent customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the General Manager establishes restaurant objectives and devises strategies to achieve them.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Department and Shift Managers, enabling them to set goals and monitoring progress.
- Provide coaching and guidance to enhance departmental performance and overall restaurant success.
- Recruit, develop, and maintain a skilled management team to ensure future leadership strength.
- Ensure the restaurant meets financial and operational targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably in high-volume quick service restaurants or related hospitality/retail sectors.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for manager roles in franchisee-owned McDonald’s.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Overtime paid at $25-$30 per hour for hours exceeding 40 per week.
