Job Overview and Employer Clarification
This opening is for a General Manager position at a restaurant licensed under the McDonald’s brand but owned and run by an independent franchisee—not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment aspects such as hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. Role Summary
The General Manager is charged with leading a profitable establishment that upholds McDonald’s high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant goals and executing a clear plan to meet them.
Responsibilities and Team Leadership
You will oversee Department Managers, each responsible for distinct operational areas, helping them set objectives, monitor progress, and provide coaching to elevate their teams and overall restaurant performance. Hiring and training managerial staff is also a critical function.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates should bring prior General Manager experience in busy environments, preferably within quick service dining or related hospitality or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
