About the Role
This position is with an independently franchised McDonald's restaurant, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment-related decisions such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA has no authority or involvement in these decisions.
The General Manager is charged with operating a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald's rigorous customer standards regarding Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This position involves setting and executing plans to meet restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers, helping them establish and track their department goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve departmental performance and overall restaurant success.
- Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Experience in quick service restaurants is highly desirable; hospitality or retail background is also beneficial.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to serve as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
