Job Overview
This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. Note that this franchisee is an entirely separate employer from McDonald’s USA and handles all employment-related matters, including hiring, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Role Summary
The General Manager oversees the overall performance of a high-volume restaurant focusing on profitability and ensuring compliance with McDonald's stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This position involves leadership responsibilities for a team of Department Managers, supporting them in goal-setting, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to help improve operations across departments.
Additional duties include recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to maintain a strong leadership team capable of steering the restaurant towards future success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should possess prior experience as a General Manager in fast-paced environments, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for manager roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
