Position Overview
This opportunity is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and product offerings but independently manages all employment affairs such as hiring, supervision, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not influence employment decisions or have access to application details.
Enjoy competitive compensation within a family-run business with a starting salary of at least $65,000 annually, supplemented with monthly bonus possibilities. Prior experience at McDonald's is advantageous.
Role Summary
The General Manager is accountable for the overall profitable operation of a McDonald's restaurant, ensuring strict adherence to McDonald's high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the manager will set performance goals and develop action plans to meet them.
This role includes leading and supporting Department Managers by helping set departmental targets, monitoring progress, and offering coaching to enhance performance. Additionally, responsibility includes recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has prior General Manager experience managing high-volume restaurant locations. Background in quick service restaurants is preferred, though hospitality or retail experience is also relevant. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to manage corporate-operated restaurants.
