Overview
This opportunity is for a General Manager role in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee acts as your employer and manages all employment-related aspects independently from McDonald’s USA, which holds no authority over hiring or employment decisions at the restaurant.
Role Summary
The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald’s high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership position involves collaborating with senior leaders to establish restaurant objectives and devise strategies to meet those goals.
Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager supports their goal-setting, monitors progress, and offers guidance and coaching to enhance departmental performance, which collectively drives overall restaurant success. The role also encompasses recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team.
Requirements
- Experience as a General Manager managing high-volume establishments, ideally within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this management position.
