Job Overview
As a General Helper/Barista, your duties will include preparing, presenting, and serving meals and beverages, while ensuring the quality and presentation of all food items.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders with a friendly attitude, attentiveness, and strong product knowledge.
- Prepare various beverages following established standards, including marking lids and pots appropriately.
- Clean the production and back-of-house areas daily, maintaining a tidy restaurant interior and equipment cleanliness each shift.
- Receive and store inventory deliveries in the back-of-house and restock front-of-house supplies regularly.
- Maintain efficient speed of service by working with urgency to fulfill orders and meet guest needs.
- Address any guest concerns promptly by delivering effective service recovery to ensure customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Show strong enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to perform well under pressure while following food safety protocols.
- Passionate about serving customers, food and beverage preparation, and managing time effectively.
- Willingness to learn to operate various equipment, handle boxes up to 25 pounds, and work in cold environments like freezers and refrigerators.
- Enjoy collaborating with a successful team in a safe work environment.
- Exhibit punctuality, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
- Previous guest service experience is beneficial.
- Flexibility to cross-train and support other outlets as needed to aid business operations.
