Overview
Join Aramark Canada as a General Utility Worker in Woodstock, Ontario, where you will play a vital role in upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to start your career by supporting kitchen operations through cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, silverware, glasses, kitchen tools, and equipment.
- Keep dishwashing stations and related areas, including the three-compartment sink, orderly and hygienic.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, functional, and promptly report any malfunctions to management.
- Perform light maintenance duties and custodial work as required.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with guests, clients, coworkers, and customers.
- Follow Aramark safety policies rigorously, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Protect company assets by ensuring secure handling and care.
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of sanitation protocols.
- Ability to comply with safety procedures related to handling hazardous chemicals.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Capable of physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing and walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as necessary.
