Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, clients, and co-workers with a friendly and professional attitude, adapting to their needs.
• Keep all assigned areas such as ancillary and department spaces and corridors clean, neat, and sanitary in strict accordance with safety and preventive maintenance policies.
• Evaluate and select appropriate cleaning methods based on orientation training.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning agents efficiently and safely under supervision.
• Disinfect and sterilize tools and supplies with germicides and sterilization equipment when necessary.
• Handle disposal of waste and bio-hazard materials following universal precaution guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning carts stocked, ensure all chemicals are correctly labeled, and verify equipment condition regularly.
• Foster teamwork and maintain professional behavior in interpersonal and interdisciplinary interactions.
• Contribute to enhancing the department’s productivity and smooth functioning.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and adhere to departmental training requirements.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with clients, leadership, and support teams.
• Ability to adjust swiftly to changing work demands.
• Role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing.
• Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage may be required.
