General Utility Worker

The Role

As a General Utility Worker on our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and the overall work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Keep dishwashing stations, three-compartment sinks, and related areas tidy and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues to management promptly.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial duties as needed.
• Assist in handling receiving and storage of food items, including freezer, fridge, and dry storage areas.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude toward guests, clients, coworkers, and others.
• Follow all Aramark safety policies, particularly those relating to food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Ensure the security and protection of company assets.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with hazardous chemicals.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a strong eye for detail.

This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may also be required.

Additional Information

Security Requirement: The role is situated within a high-security corporate setting. Candidates must have resided continuously in Canada for at least the past 10 years to comply with federal background checks necessary for security clearance.
