About the Role
Aramark Canada is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within our kitchen operations. This position serves as an entry-level opportunity, providing a pathway to grow your career while ensuring the high standards of food safety and customer service we are known for.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing station, including the three-compartment sink and surrounding areas, tidy and clean.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and functioning properly; promptly report malfunctions to management.
- Carry out light maintenance and custodial tasks related to the kitchen environment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, fostering a positive attitude toward guests, coworkers, and clients.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Safeguard company property and assets in the workplace.
Candidate Qualifications
- Basic understanding of sanitation processes.
- Capability to follow safety rules due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
