GCP Cloud Engineer – Kubernetes & DevOps

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer with over four years of expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/GKE platforms, networking, DevOps processes, and cloud security practices. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing, deploying, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of Google Cloud services, including overall cloud infrastructure design and architecture.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) covering deployment strategies, scalability, networking, and issue resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP networking principles and Landing Zone models involving VPCs, subnets, identity and access management (IAM), firewall configurations, VPNs, and routing setups.
• Ability to architect cloud solutions prioritizing high availability, scalability, and effective cost management.
• Experience in DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code using Terraform, and automation of infrastructure provisioning.
• Capability to implement and uphold cloud security measures and DevSecOps standards.
• Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and workloads.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Proficiency in container orchestration with GKE and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud networking and Landing Zone framework.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding and application of cloud security protocols and cost optimization strategies.
