Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Shop Assistant to support customer needs, ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting, and collaborate with a team passionate about quality fresh food. Prior experience is not mandatory as we provide comprehensive training, but a friendly demeanor, pride in your tasks, and a genuine enthusiasm for fresh produce are essential. Many of our Store Managers began their journey in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish and rotate inventory to keep displays fully stocked, fresh, and visually pleasing
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-managed Back of House area
• Ensure stock quality through date checks and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) rotation
• Implement effective shelf management to aid easy customer shopping
• Deliver attentive and helpful customer service on the sales floor
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene protocols, and workplace safety standards
• Collaborate with the team to facilitate smooth daily store operations

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about food and preferably with experience in a fresh food retail environment
• Meticulous with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks and remain on your feet while working
• A reliable team player who demonstrates a solid work ethic
• Flexible to work AM and PM shifts throughout a 7-day rotating schedule
