Job Overview

We are currently seeking full-time Porter staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front of house areas including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations at our facility located at 860 West California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with further schedule details provided during the interview process. Online applications only are accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear, buss, and clean tables and sweep floors during busy service periods and prepare areas prior to meal service.
• Safely transport dishes and utensils from the front of house to kitchen areas using trays, bus tubs or carts adhering to safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, and clean cooking equipment either by hand or with dishwashing machines to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Remove food scraps and rinse dishes thoroughly before washing.
• Maintain cleanliness of display equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
• Assist with receiving and transporting heavy deliveries to storage areas safely following proper lifting techniques.
• Ensure the proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance of served food in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Adhere to company policies concerning personal safety, including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant footwear.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operation of food service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience handling high-volume dishwashing is required.
• Experience in front of house, porter or stocker roles and knowledge of food safety practices are highly desirable.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends off and paid holidays included.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $25.00.
