Job Summary

The Porter position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house areas including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations to ensure smooth customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear, bus, and clean tables and sweep floors during and prior to peak service times.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely from front-of-house to kitchen using appropriate equipment such as trays and carts.
• Clean and sanitize cooking stations, dishware, and equipment by hand or with machines, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Scrape and rinse food scraps from dishes before washing, ensuring complete cleanliness of all items.
• Keep display equipment clean and compliant with safety and sanitation regulations during meal service.
• Assist with moving heavy deliveries from the dock to designated storage areas, adhering to safe lifting protocols.
• Follow HACCP standards for food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Commit personally to safety standards and company policies, including use of protective gloves, slip-resistant footwear, and proper lifting methods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with stocking and inventory management related to foodservice operations.
• Customer service skills to interact courteously.
• Proficiency in event setup and breakdown tasks.
• Ability to work full-time schedule, Monday to Friday; hours may vary and details provided at interview.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $19.00. Employees are eligible for a variety of benefits.
