Full Time Merchandise Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

• Create a positive experience for both internal teams and external customers.
• Upkeep a culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Manage truck deliveries and prioritize timely placement of merchandise on the sales floor.
• Train and guide associates on merchandising and processing methods.
• Verify merchandise tagging, hanging, securing, and coding meets standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate smooth product flow.
• Ensure associates complete tasks aligned with store plans, adjusting priorities as necessary.
• Monitor and coach team productivity.
• Organize and rotate back stock for accessible replenishment.
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and proper signage throughout the store.
• Keep backroom areas tidy, organized, and compliant with safety and recycling programs.
• Communicate effectively with management and associates on priorities and progress.
• Provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback to foster development.
• Partner with management to identify and address training needs for associates.
• Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promote store credit and loyalty programs to customers.
• Support store efforts in shrink reduction and safety awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Adept multitasker and quick to adapt to changes or unexpected situations.
• Effective team player working well with peers and supervisors.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items with or without accommodation.
• Experience training others.
• Minimum of 1 year in retail and at least 6 months of leadership experience.
