Role Summary

As a Store Cleaning Associate starting at 6AM, you will ensure the store environment remains pristine and welcoming by managing floor care and general cleanliness. Core duties involve operating cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers, along with various mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and window-cleaning tasks. Adhering to company policies regarding merchandise, operations, and loss prevention is essential. Flexibility to assist in multiple store areas will support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify high standards of customer experience with both colleagues and customers.
• Promote a positive and respectful store culture based on honesty and integrity.
• Maintain floor care standards by operating cleaning machinery and performing related tasks.
• Keep all store areas clean and organized, including sales floor, associate lounge, restrooms, backroom, and checkouts.
• Comply with health and safety policies, including replenishment of essential supplies in various store zones.
• Be cross-trained to assist in diverse store departments such as backroom, front end, and sales floor.
• Provide support for front end coverage as needed.
• Ensure merchandising and signage align with company guidelines.
• Contribute to store recovery efforts throughout the day.
• Follow operational procedures and loss prevention controls to reduce shrinkage.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management and coworkers.
• Observe labor laws and policies, including break and meal regulations.
• Participate actively in safety programs to uphold a secure work environment.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Strong customer service aptitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demand.
• Good organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Physically capable to perform cleaning duties and operate floor cleaning equipment.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Adaptable to changes and unexpected situations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; attentive listening and thoughtful responses.
• Capable of lifting heavy items, with reasonable accommodation if necessary.
• Collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and supervisors.
• Experience in retail customer service is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this role is between $13.25 and $13.75, determined by individual skills, qualifications, and experience.
