Job Summary

The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, trays, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food residues from dishes, then clean by hand or load into dishwashing machinery, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, maintaining perfect cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths as appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain chemical and temperature standards for dishwashing.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces diligently.
• Dispose of trash properly, including steam cleaning or hosing garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work stations as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule & Location

Position based at Mount Pisgah Christian School, 9875 Nesbit Ferry Road, Alpharetta, GA 30022. The role requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. More scheduling details will be provided during the interview.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $24.00 per hour.
