Position Summary

We are seeking full-time Dishwashers to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, kitchen, and work areas. You will be essential in ensuring all kitchen utensils and equipment meet hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food debris from dishes and wash them manually or using dishwashing machinery, ensuring thorough cleanliness.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to designated procedures.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or by hand to ensure sanitation.
• Maintain compliance with outlined safety and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and safe.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold cleanliness and safety requirements.
• Clean work tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Empty trash, place it in designated containers, and clean garbage cans through steaming or hosing out.
• Assist in moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position based at The Westminster School in Atlanta, GA, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Further details will be discussed during the interview.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a dishwasher is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
