Job Overview

The Food Service Utility position involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring that work areas, equipment, and utensils meet safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to uphold sanitation and safety protocols.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Dispose of trash properly and maintain trash receptacles through steam cleaning or hosing.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen work zones.
• Assist in setting up banquet tables and front-of-house arrangements.
• Help with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as required.
• Adhere strictly to established safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position based at Heathwood Hall, 3000 South Beltline Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29201. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Further scheduling details will be provided during the interview process.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $12.00 to $15.00. Selected locations provide free meals, uniforms, and uniform laundering services. Employee Referral Bonus is available for internal recommendations.
