Dishwasher - Full Time

Overview

Flik Independent School Dining (FISD) is seeking to immediately hire a full-time Dishwasher to join our team at Brentwood Academy, located at 219 Granny White Pike, Brentwood, TN 37027. This position is Monday through Friday with varying hours to be discussed during the interview. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from soiled dishes, wash them by hand or arrange on racks for the dishwashing machine ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays professionally following established procedures.
• Polish silverware using various equipment and methods, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain proper chemical and temperature controls during dishwashing processes.
• Organize and maintain orderliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas, upholding safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to comply with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Clean work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks diligently.
• Dispose of trash properly and maintain cleanliness of garbage containers through steam cleaning or hosing.
• Assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, including loading and unloading goods.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Additional Notes

This position offers a fixed hourly wage of $18.00. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering services are provided at selected sites. Employee referral bonuses are available internally.
