Role Summary

The Front Store Manager (FSM) oversees all operations related to the front store sections (excluding Pharmacy), such as cosmetics. This role leads the front store team in delivering excellent customer service, manages operational processes and resources, and ensures that store objectives are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to enhance customer experience, increase customer traffic, and boost profitability.
• Collaborate with management to ensure store standards are upheld at all times, including backroom operations.
• Manage labor scheduling by utilizing Work Force Management (WFM) tools to maximize productivity.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels to support efficient store operations.
• Adhere fully to Human Resources standards and procedures.
• Lead hiring efforts for all departments excluding Pharmacy.
• Manage wage administration following SLPH guidelines.
• Conduct probation reviews and annual performance evaluations for staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching, create action plans, and follow through on staff performance management.
• Promote engagement and motivate the team by exemplifying core company values.
• Analyze financial reports to identify trends and resolve discrepancies using FSM Monitoring Reports.
• Achieve periodical, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
• Set and communicate departmental goals, motivating employees to meet them.
• Implement strategies to enhance business efficiency within the store.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum five years’ experience in retail management.
• Proven track record of driving business success, leading by example, and supporting corporate initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a management team.
• Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
• Effective relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information
