About the Role

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Georgetown, Ontario, to support health, beauty, and convenience service delivery by placing customers at the core of your activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize product stock in the backroom adhering to Backroom Inventory Management processes.
• Utilize PDT and MMS Systems daily for operational tasks.
• Manage product exit strategies and returns as instructed.
• Maintain expertise in assigned product inventory areas, including placement and expiry monitoring.
• Ensure store visuals meet company standards in image and current trends.
• Create consumer-friendly and easily accessible product displays.
• Receive merchandise following established policies and procedures while recording all necessary documentation appropriately.
• Keep backroom areas tidy and organized based on organizational principles.
• Support management in upholding quality and service standards in the front store.
• Present a clean and professional appearance complying with uniform policy.
• Proactively greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Adhere to all health, safety, store standard, and loss prevention policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good judgment, planning capability, and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-focused work approach.
• Adaptability to changing conditions on the sales floor.
• If handling cash, ensure accuracy and efficiency in transactions.
• Basic computer literacy including cash register operation.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and maintain records accurately.

Working Conditions

• Flexible work hours including potential night and weekend shifts.
• Physical capability to lift items up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
