Overview

The Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) based in Dubai South, Dubai World Central, offers state-of-the-art facilities providing advanced flight training. As a flying instructor, you will play a key role in training ab-initio cadet pilots primarily on SR-22 single-engine aircraft, supporting their journey from novices to skilled aviators. This fully operational academy environment integrates flight operations to enhance learning experiences daily.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive flight training to beginner cadets, including in-aircraft, simulator, and classroom sessions.
• Conduct detailed pre- and post-flight briefings to ensure cadet understanding of procedures and objectives.
• Evaluate flying proficiency through regular assessments to maintain high training standards.
• Prioritize cadet safety at all times and report any incidents or hazards that may affect flight operations.
• Monitor and document cadet progress accurately to facilitate personalized instruction and feedback.
• Innovate training approaches by researching and proposing methods to enhance instructional quality and learner outcomes.
• Assist with additional flying training initiatives as directed by the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI).

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience instructing ab-initio pilots within a large Approved Training Organization (ATO).
• Minimum of 700 total flying hours; 500 hours as instructor; 200 hours in instrument flight rules (IFR) conditions.
• Hold a valid GCAA or ICAO-compliant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with single-engine class rating.
• Certified Flight Instructor with night and instrument privileges.
• Possess an unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• English language proficiency at ICAO Level 5 or above.
• Skilled in various instructional techniques and computer literate.

• Official No-incident/accident certificate from relevant Civil Aviation Authority
• Licence Verification Letter required for licence conversion by GCAA
