Overview
Join Allegiance Industries, Inc., a leading facility services provider, as a Floor Technician on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. We offer on-the-job training and seek individuals committed to exceeding client expectations. This position suits those seeking either a long-term career path or a reliable job opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform steam-cleaning of carpets effectively.
- Strip floors utilizing appropriate machinery.
- Apply wax coatings and buff floors to a polished finish.
- Seal floors by applying suitable sealants.
- Conduct deep cleaning of painted floors using specific chemicals and degreasers.
- Maintain cleanliness of buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning various surfaces.
- Collect and dispose of trash responsibly.
- Handle moving of heavy equipment and furniture safely.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience in floor care is required.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Awareness of potential safety hazards and ability to communicate concerns to relevant staff.
- Dependable transportation for commute.
- Capability to adhere to schedules and maintain commitments.
- Ability to follow supervisory instructions accurately.
- Demonstrated professionalism in the workplace.
