Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a Day Porter to join Allegiance Industries, Inc. located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role at a manufacturing facility, with a work shift from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors along with cleaning various surfaces throughout the building.
- Collect and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and supplies.
- Prepare cleaning agents by mixing according to required specifications.
- Handle movement of heavy equipment, furniture, or objects as needed.
- Identify and report maintenance issues that require attention.
- Perform floor maintenance such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing as required.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess physical stamina and manual dexterity for performing cleaning activities.
- Capable of recognizing safety hazards and effectively communicating them to relevant personnel.
- Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite.
- Able to adhere to schedules and fulfill commitments consistently.
- Follow directions from supervisors accurately.
- Exhibit professionalism in the workplace.
