Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, to handle installation, testing, and maintenance of both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. This role involves a technical and hands-on approach to ensure fire safety compliance and system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm systems and efficiently commission them to operational status.
- Carry out thorough site surveys followed by well-documented technical reporting.
- Perform routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose faults, execute repairs, and upgrade system components as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to fire safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and design teams to implement installations smoothly.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance to clients and internal departments.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation including drawings, inspection reports, and checklists.
- Conduct training sessions for clients or end-users on proper system use when required.
