Job Overview
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing and supervising the manufacturing of various intricate systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research, testing, and analysis of designs in relation to system element functionality.
- Effectively communicate technical details across all organizational levels.
- Maintain and manage PLCs and electrical modules such as switch gears, MCC, VFDs, generators, and battery chargers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proactive self-starter capable of working independently and offering technical assistance to others.
- Experience designing electrical systems including lube oil, vibration monitoring, fuel systems, and turbines.
- Proficiency in developing panel layouts and bills of materials using Promise software or similar tools for gas turbines or power generation equipment.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to various business levels.
- Extensive hands-on experience with PLCs and medium/low voltage electrical components like switch gears, MCC, VFDs, generators, and battery chargers.
Educational Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is required, along with preferred knowledge of business functions or relevant industry experience.
