Key Responsibilities

• Developing and customizing Oracle Retail XStore POS solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Utilizing Java and the Spring Framework to build robust applications.
• Managing data with Oracle Database using SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Integrating systems through RESTful and SOAP APIs efficiently.
• Understanding the POS transaction lifecycle alongside store operational workflows.
• Providing troubleshooting and production support along with performance tuning for optimal system operation.
• Collaborating with teams using tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins within an Agile development environment.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Oracle Retail XStore POS development and customization.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, including SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP API design and implementation.
• Understanding POS transaction processes and retail store operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and enhancing system performance.
• Familiarity with development tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins and Agile methodologies.
