Job Overview

A reputable pharmaceutical manufacturer located in Vile Parle, Mumbai, is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Accounts & Finance Manager. This role requires managing the entire financial operations, plant accounting, compliance systems, and corporate reporting within the manufacturing facility. Proficiency and practical knowledge of SAP HANA are essential for efficient financial processing and accurate insight generation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily account activities, general ledger management, corporate finances, and treasury functions at the manufacturing plant.
• Compile, assess, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports adhering to Ind AS and legal standards.
• Lead financial planning efforts including budgeting, forecasting, and performing variance analyses to measure progress relative to company objectives.
• Supervise product costing, inventory assessments, and investigate manufacturing cost deviations.
• Deploy strong internal financial controls aimed at cost reduction and preventing financial leakages within manufacturing processes.
• Guarantee adherence to both Direct and Indirect tax regulations, covering Income Tax and GST compliance including filings, returns, and audits.
• Coordinate corporate governance matters and interact with internal, statutory, and tax auditors to facilitate smooth audit procedures.
• Utilize SAP HANA capabilities to manage financial accounting and controller operations, generating management information system reports efficiently.
• Enhance SAP HANA workflows to boost accuracy and expedite financial reporting cycles.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses Chartered Accountant qualification (CA Final cleared).
• Holds 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or manufacturing domains.
• Has mandatory hands-on experience with SAP HANA technical functionalities.
• Exhibits strong leadership aptitude for overseeing accounting teams.
• Demonstrates effective communication and negotiation skills when dealing with auditors and other stakeholders.

Compensation Details

The annual salary range for this position is between INR 1,800,000 and INR 2,000,000.
