About the Role
Join Clean Harbors at their Corunna, Ontario location as a Field Laborer within their safety-driven team. This position entails performing various tasks such as cleaning and turnaround of containers on-site, flagging duties at landfill dumps, painting, housekeeping, and general labor tasks throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, making safety the top priority at all times.
- Operate both light and heavy machinery including water trucks for dust control, forklifts, road sweepers, and backhoes.
- Perform painting and housekeeping tasks within the plant and engage in various general labor duties as assigned.
- Serve as a flagman, assisting with backing vehicles and monitoring activity at the landfill.
- Clean Roll-Off Containers and other equipment as required.
- Carry out additional labor duties designated by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Full G Driver's License.
- Previous experience working in an industrial setting is essential.
- Background in physically demanding labor such as construction, landscaping, or farming is required.
- Must be capable of regularly lifting 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions.
