Job description
Position Overview
The Food and Beverage Executive will coordinate team efforts to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure compliance with grooming standards and operational procedures. Responsibilities include managing opening and closing activities, organizing supply inventories, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and overseeing maintenance requests.
Key Duties
- Facilitate teamwork among staff to meet guest needs effectively.
- Inspect and enforce proper grooming and attire of personnel.
- Perform opening and closing tasks including setup, cleaning, and securing facilities.
- Ensure storage areas are organized, clean, and adhere to FIFO inventory practices.
- Conduct scheduled inventories and manage stock requisitions.
- Monitor dining room availability, service quality, guest safety, and wellbeing.
- Submit work orders for maintenance and repairs as required.
- Assist management in recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Uphold the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy as a role model and initial point of contact.
- Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and promptly report any incidents or hazards.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and assist guests courteously, anticipating and addressing service needs including those of individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals by responding appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure quality standards are met and suggest improvements to boost organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines for defects.
- Physically capable of standing, sitting, walking during full shifts; handling items up to 50 pounds; navigating confined spaces and stairs; and performing manual tasks requiring fine motor skills.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related role.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year overseeing team members.
- No licensing or certification required.
