Job description
Position Overview
The Senior Housing Supervisor is responsible for supporting management and leadership in addressing and resolving employee relations and Human Resources issues. This role involves overseeing compliance with hiring and recruitment regulations, maintaining accurate employee records, and facilitating communication between employees and Human Resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist with employee relations issues, ensuring proper resolution and follow-up.
- Support management and leadership in handling Human Resources concerns.
- Oversee hiring and recruitment processes to ensure adherence to local, state, federal laws, and company policies.
- Inform Human Resources management about employee-related matters.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from employees and management regarding HR policies and programs.
- Distribute information related to employer-employee relations, personnel policies, and employee activities.
- Maintain and review employee records and documentation including interview materials and legal forms.
- Facilitate logistics, administration, and scheduling for annual employee surveys.
- Manage phone communications and take messages as necessary.
- Assist management in employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and confidentiality protocols.
- Welcome and professionally communicate with guests according to company standards.
- Foster positive work relationships and contribute to team objectives by responding appropriately to employee concerns.
- Utilize computer systems and point-of-sale technology for work-related information management.
- Carry out physical tasks involving moving or handling objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of professional experience in a related field.
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
