Position Overview
The role of Food and Beverage (F&B) Associate extends beyond merely serving food; it centers on crafting an unforgettable dining experience for guests. Associates engage proactively to provide a broad array of services ensuring guests enjoy their meals fully. Tasks include setting tables, liaising with kitchen staff, delivering service directly to guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. This interaction is crafted to seamlessly become a part of the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities and Work Environment
- Support guests by managing the dining atmosphere and services attentively.
- Perform duties such as moving around the premises for extended periods, including standing, walking, or sitting, often navigating surfaces that can be uneven or slippery.
- Handle menu information by reading and visually validating details accurately.
- Engage physically with workplace demands such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or positioning items up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance; also involves bending, twisting, reaching overhead and below knees.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain a safe working environment, and uphold consistent quality standards.
- Maintain a professional image in terms of uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent qualification such as G.E.D.
- Less than one year of relevant working experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No mandatory licenses or certifications for this position.
