Overview

The Stocking 1 Team Associate role at Walmart Canada focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through efficient completion of designated stocking duties. The associate works as part of a team to strategically manage and perform workload and operational tasks in a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing courteous and friendly customer interactions by greeting customers, assisting with product or service inquiries, helping locate items, guiding purchase decisions, resolving concerns, and escalating issues appropriately.
• Evaluating workload in assigned store areas to effectively plan tasks.
• Accurately signing for merchandise inventory.
• Maintaining shelf organization, module integrity, and correcting shelf capacity errors.
• Handling merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins in support of the Customer Availability Process.
• Using appropriate fixtures, supplies, and tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Contributing to creating a safe and clean work environment by following company policies, including safety sweeps and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Preparing the backroom area for the stock unloading process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be aged 16 or older.

Additional Information

The starting wage for this position is $20.01 per hour. The associate will be based at Walmart located at 9021 Quartz Rd, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.
