Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Factory Hand to join a leading laser cutting and metal fabrication firm on a daytime shift. This role involves hands-on support throughout the production workflow, including operating specialized machinery and assisting with various manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Lissmac machine for edge deburring and finishing of laser-cut metal parts.
- Perform drilling and tapping tasks according to specifications.
- Manage general lifting and manual handling of materials and completed components.
- Assist the production team with routine factory operations.
- Ensure the work environment remains clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Consistently comply with workplace health and safety regulations and quality guidelines.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or factory settings, particularly in metal fabrication or sheet metal work.
- Familiarity with operating machinery and adhering to procedural workflows.
- Dependability with punctual attendance and effective teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail in daily tasks.
- Physically fit to handle repetitive lifting and manual tasks.
- A positive mindset coupled with eagerness to learn and adapt.
