Senior Technical Projects Coordinator

Role Overview

This position focuses on delivering precise technical appraisals of construction and maintenance initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and execution plans to confirm alignment with project stipulations, quality benchmarks, and industry norms.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze and review incoming construction and maintenance proposals for technical accuracy.
• Authenticate and examine Bills of Quantities and conduct quantity take-offs as necessary.
• Assess contractors' project timelines and execution strategies.
• Distinguish technical variations among bidders by comparing construction methods.
• Ensure material and work compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
• Compile comprehensive technical evaluation reports in collaboration with committee members.
• Enhance project management methodologies by refining evaluation procedures, defining uniform performance metrics, integrating industry-leading practices, assessing modern construction technologies, and advising on digital project management system improvements.
• Offer technical guidance to project committees and stakeholders when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or closely related discipline.
• A minimum of five years’ experience working on construction projects and/or maintenance assignments.
• In-depth knowledge of Bills of Quantities, project scheduling, and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to develop project management frameworks, set performance criteria, and institute international best practices.
• Exceptional analytical competence for scrutinizing project schedules, contrasting execution methodologies, and differentiating technical bidder aspects.
• Proficiency in drafting detailed technical documentation and collaborating with both technical and administrative committees.
• Familiarity with advanced construction technologies and innovative cost-/efficiency-enhancing solutions.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both verbal and written.
