About the Role

They seek a Senior Steel Frame Detailer to join their team, offering a chance to advance technical skills, handle complex residential projects, and establish a long-term career in steel framing.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailing structural elements for various residential builds including highset, split-level, and pole homes.
- Working on large bespoke projects featuring complex roof designs, steel floor systems, and wall framing.
- Collaborating with builders, engineers, manufacturing teams, and internal staff to ensure precise and efficient detailing ready for manufacturing and installation.
- Potential to advance into roles such as technical checking, quality assurance, team leadership, mentoring, customer-facing technical support, and management.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in residential steel frame detailing and handling highset or complex residential construction projects.
- Familiarity with steel wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Queensland's residential construction practices is essential.
Preferred Software Proficiency
- Experience with Vertex BD, FrameCAD, Scottsdale, or equivalent steel framing/detailing software tools is highly beneficial.
